Membership in IIOA is a plus. Founded in 1995 IIOA is the premier Industrial Wastewater Operators community of operators in Indiana. Members are connected by networking at WITtec (Annual Conference) and through the IIOA website with career opportunities. WITtec is generally held in April each year and announced first on the iioa.net website and in the IIOA JOURNAL.
Members are able to register for events at the member rate for the conference and also for the IIOA mentored program.
Members are able to earn credentials and certifications in the field of Wastewater Treatment and Environmental Management. Credentials are awarded through the IIOA Registered Industrial Wastewater Professional Academy.
IIOA management participates in IDEM workgroups to help keep members apprised of legislative changes concerning Indiana wastewater operators.
